# What you need:

→ Base

01 - 1 cup walnuts or almonds
02 - 1 cup pitted dates
03 - 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 1/2 cup rolled oats
05 - 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
07 - 1/8 tsp salt

→ Toppings

08 - 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips
09 - 2 tbsp shredded coconut
10 - 2 tbsp chopped nuts

# Directions:

01 - Combine walnuts, rolled oats, and cocoa powder in a food processor. Pulse until finely ground and uniform.
02 - Add pitted dates, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until mixture holds together when pressed. Add 1-2 teaspoons water if too dry.
03 - Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls using hands. Coat with chocolate chips, shredded coconut, or chopped nuts if desired.
04 - Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving to achieve optimal texture.
