# Expert advice:

01 -
  • The ritual of whisking the matcha becomes this quiet moment of mindfulness in your day that somehow makes the drink taste even better.
  • You can customize the sweetness exactly to your liking, something the coffee shop versions never quite get right.
02 -
  • Never use boiling water with matcha as it brings out a harsh bitterness that cant be fixed once its happened.
  • The temperature of your almond milk matters tremendously, as too hot will kill the froth and too cold wont blend properly with the matcha.
03 -
  • Store your matcha in the refrigerator after opening to preserve its vibrant color and prevent the delicate flavors from oxidizing.
  • Almond milk brands vary dramatically in creaminess, so experiment until you find one that froths well for the perfect latte texture.
