Grilled chicken with Caesar filling in soft tortillas

# What you need:

→ Chicken

01 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1/2 tsp salt
04 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
05 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder

→ Caesar Mix

06 - 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
07 - 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
08 - 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
09 - 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)

→ Wrap

10 - 4 large flour tortillas or wraps

# Directions:

01 - Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
02 - Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
03 - Grill chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, until cooked through. Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
04 - In a large bowl, toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, Parmesan, and cherry tomatoes if using.
05 - Warm tortillas slightly for pliability, then lay flat.
06 - Spread the salad mixture evenly down the center of each tortilla. Add sliced chicken on top.
07 - Fold in the sides and roll up each tortilla tightly to form a wrap. Slice in half to serve.

# Expert advice:

01 -
  • Everything you adore about Caesar salad but handheld and mess free
  • Comes together in under thirty minutes even on your busiest days
02 -
  • Letting the chicken rest before slicing keeps all those juices inside instead of on your cutting board
  • Overfilling the wraps makes them impossible to roll so restraint pays off here
03 -
  • Whole wheat tortillas add fiber but taste best lightly warmed first
  • Adding crushed croutons inside the wrap creates that signature Caesar crunch
